We have acquired a limited number of beautiful metal framed prints. These pieces feature the images that were captured towards the end of the Civil War by the Quartermaster's Office to catalog various uniforms and accessories.
In addition to being great conversation pieces, these prints have a rich story of their own. Originally, they were hanging in a very prestigious hotel in Virginia that decided to do some re-deocrating. We jumped at the chance to get our hands on them and acquired all that there were. Once we received them, we hand finished the frames to an antique pewter. In addition we have laser etched the glass on the fronts to commemorate the Battle of Gettysburg.
The images are 5"w x 7"h with 1 3/4" off-white matting in a 9"w x 11"h high quality metal frame. As they are hand finished, no two are exactly alike.
